DEAD SEA - The 7th Regional Canon Conference which, opened on July 16, concluded its sessions on Sunday, July 22. The conference titled, "Towards an Ecclesiastical Canon Culture" was held in cooperation with the Pontifical University of Lateran in Rome as well the Latin ecclesiastical courts in both Jerusalem and Amman in the presence of dozens of bishops, priests, and lawyers from Jordan, Palestine, the Galilee, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Italy.

66% success rate: Tawjihi exams results announced in Palestine

PALESTINE - On Sunday, July 8, 2018, the results of the Tawjihi exams, also known as General Secondary Education Certificate Examination, were announced across the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. In the Latin Patriarchate Schools, 94.5% of students have passed their exams, while a 100% success rate was achieved at the Latin Patriarchate school of the Holy Family in Gaza.
